Iceberg Salat Centar’s main work is production and processing of lettuce and other vegetables. Iceberg Salat Centar’s products supplies McDonald’s, all the leading supermarket chains and major restaurants. The company is also engaged in the production of greenhouses.

Iceberg Salat Centar in it’s greenhouses, which has on over 2 hectares of land, produces a salad that is order today and early tomorrow is cut, washed, packed and brought to market the same morning.

Salad which company produces in greenhouses is done on black film for disposable, to avoid the proliferation of grass, while in the open field lettuce is hand hoe. That is the hardest and most expensive way of farming.

Fresh salad postharvest has a very short lifespan, does not tolerate long transport and must be placed on the market day to day. There is a big advantage of the company because Iceberg Salat Centar is located only 12km from the city center.
