{"id":9062,"date":"2018-10-16T15:20:10","date_gmt":"2018-10-16T15:20:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/webelixir.rs\/?p=9062"},"modified":"2019-09-13T21:01:36","modified_gmt":"2019-09-13T21:01:36","slug":"kroz-projekat-mali-poljoprivrednici-proslo-vise-od-6000-dece","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iceberg.rs\/en\/kroz-projekat-mali-poljoprivrednici-proslo-vise-od-6000-dece\/","title":{"rendered":"Over 10,000 kids have been involved in Iceberg Salat Centar\u2019s program \u201eSmall Farmers\u201c!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Iceberg Salad Center, as the leader on the domestic market in the production and packaging of salads, vegetables and fruits has launched the \u201cSmall Farmers\u201d project.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The aim of the project is to familiarize children with the process of growing vegetables and fruit in order to motivate them to eat healthily from the youngest age and to acquire healthy habits.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The project involves organized visits to the company by children aged 3-9. In the first part of the visit, children will be accompanied by company agronomists in visiting the fields where they can see how lettuce and other vegetables are grown in open fields and in greenhouses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">After that the children will be visiting specially fenced gardens, where they will grow vegetables assisted by the agronomists the junior heroes of the Iceberg Salad Center Jabu\u010dilo and \u0160argareposlava.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">So far, through this program, over 7,000 children have gained first-hand knowlegde about growing fruits and vegetables and living a healthy lifestyle.
